My broad, interdisciplinary education and experiences in the public, non-profit and private sector allow me to offer a range of consulting services. I work with partners who seek a greater sense of resilience in times marked by painfully apparent brittleness in the social and political institutions we depend on. Particular areas of interest and expertise include:
- the process of fossil fuel depletion and its social, economic and environmental impacts
- the relocalization of economies, currencies, and supply chains
- lifecycle and supply chain anlaysis, particularly in the energy and agricultural sectors
- energy, ecological and lifestyle auditing and accounting
- financial, ecological and energy risk management
- community regeneration, conflict resolution and peacemaking
- permaculture and ecological design
Additionally, I can offer educational programs lasting from an hour to several days, and can design programs to cover topics as diverse as fossil fuel depletion, supply chain risks, life cycle analysis, permaculture, ancestral skils, and peacemaking.
Current and past partners include:
- Vermonters for a Sustainable Population
- Institute for Integrated Economics Research
- Winooski Valley Park District
- Shelburne Farms
- Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund
- United States National Park Service
- United States Geological Survey
- Advanced Concepts and Technologies International
